Beyond the Beyond
Waking up not quite right
choosing to create languid pools
of blue crystal clear water in my mind
cool languid waves breaking softly
inside the shores of my emotions
calming waters to sit beside and reflect
in the depths of my soul a river runs
quiet and constant
in the shade of deep green tropical plants
it is there I go to find the source of creation
in that river beyond the beyond
all that is needed for creation lies in the deep river
I lean over the river and cup my hands
splashing water on my face
I pull out of the river Here and Nowness
I create calm and peace
then I return to the world of flesh and bone
renewed and right once again
